U2311H monitor - How to adjust the height?
Hi,
I would like to adjust the height of the monitor but can't see how to do it. It is apparently a rack and pinion mechanism that allows the monitor to slide. Mine is either very stiff or locked. It can't be moved by hand. Does anyone know how to adjust it? The setup sheet and the manual have not helped.

Sounds like it is stuck. Turn the monitor off. Lay a towel down on the desk. Put the monitor display side down on the towel. Remove the stand from the display. Set the stand on the desk and try to move it down and up.

Thanks for your good advice Chris. I was looking at the wrong part. The plastic box on the pillar does not move as I thought. The monitor cradle rides in the two grooves in the plastic box. It was a bit stuck but gentle pressure got it going.
I have now set the monitor to its lowest position. This is a great benefit as I wear varifocal lenses.
