U2412M, Flickering screen
Just connected Dell U2412M and have a flickering screen. Used new DVI cable and did test. Help?

Run the U2412M BID (Built-in Diagnostics). Page 39 in the User's Guide. If the flickering does NOT occur during the colored screens, the monitor is fine. The issue is with either the video card, video card driver, or the operating system display settings.

If the flicker occured during the BID, the monitor should be exchanged by Dell Customer Service. See this.
