U2412M flicker issues, remove the Dell Display Manager software

Just got these new monitors and all they do is flicker all the time. My system specs:

i5 4670K
Geforce GTX 780
16MB Corsair Vengence (2x8gb)
AsRock Z87 Extreme3

* The monitor power cords should be plugged directly into grounded wall jacks
* The monitors have DP, DVI, and VGA. What ports are available on the video card?
* If testing using VGA or DVI, are you using the VGA and DVI cables that shipped with the monitors?
* Press the monitor Menu button. The bottom of the screen should state:
Resolution: 1920 x 1200@ 60Hz, Maximum Resolution: 1920 x 1200@ 60Hz

Found the problem it was an app included in your drivers. So on this go around i did not install it. the app is called softOSD. Why do you guys include this if you know it causes issues? Really not happy. Lost a whole day on that.

softOSD is part of the DDM (Dell Display Manager) application.

This fixed the problem for me today, that softOSD causes the flicker when I uninstalled, no more flickering

Just to be precise, softOSD is a passive service used by the Dell PowerNAP utility bundled with the U2412M.

It has nothing to do with Dell Display Manager.
