U2412m stuck pixel
Hi,
I bought a U2412M monitor from Amazon in May 2013. Recently, I noticed a stuck pixel that has started to annoy me. I just wanted to know if this is a "bright" pixel that is covered by the Premium Panel Guarantee.
It was a bit difficult, but I took some pictures. It seems to be a green dot on an all black background and a pink dot on all white background.
File size is limited so I had to zoom in and crop my original photos.

That is a Bright Sub-Pixel defect. Dell can exchange the U2412M for a refurbished U2412M. But, the used replacement could have up to 5 Dark Sub-Pixel defects and still be a valid exchange by Dell. So you have to weigh the chances of getting a good replacement or keeping that one.
