U2413, shuts down on its own, #2

Question

I purchased a Dell Ultra Sharp 24 Premier Color Monitor U2413 on 12-2-15 for $550 plus taxes and this little used monitor is doing the same thing as other poster; it just shuts down but the power button stays lighted. You have to push the power button to get the monitor to 'wake-up' again from where it was. From my internet searches, this is a systemic problem with this particular model. I stopped counting the number of people that have this particular problem. It's now shutting down with more frequency the longer it stays on. What gives Dell?

For all that were still under the purchased 3 year warranty period, we issued used/refurbished like for like exchanges. If you knew the purchase date of 12/2/15, I am not sure why you waited until after the expiration date of 12/2/18 to contact Dell?
