U2415 Constant flickering
Hello. I have a problem with my Dell U2415, when i connect monitor through Display Port, i have a issue, monitors start flickering, like this
if i connect through HDMI - no problem. How can i fix this?
I was trying to contact Dell Support, but my monitor doesn't have ServiceTag.
OS: Windows 10 x64
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k
GPU: GeForce 980Ti (Gigabyte Extreme Gaming)
RAM: 32 GB

* Is that two U2415?
* Are the monitors daisy chained to each other?
* List all of the video out ports on the 980 Ti
* Test each monitor by itself on the 980 Ti. Do you have the issue?

I have one 2415 monitor, video is example how monitor flickering. I tested this monitor with another Display Port Cable. Videocard has 1 HDMI and 3 Display Ports, I tested every ports, same problem.

The provided mDP to DP cable could be defective or loose in the ports. I would pick up another one locally and retest. I would find a DP to DP cable to test.

Same thing, i was trying another mdp-DP cable and DP-DP cable. After 10 minutes again. Sometimes stops 30-40 minutes normal, and again. HDMI works perfectly.

Per the warranty, you may initiate a monitor exchange. Test the replacement before sending any monitor back to Dell. If the replacement does not have the issue, keep it and send us the original. If the replacement has the same issue, I doubt that they both could be defective. Send the replacement back to Dell. Look to the computer operating system drivers or computer hardware as the culprit.
