U2415, Panasonic CF53 laptop, VGA out not working
With a Panasonic CF53 laptop with VGA output, I cannot find a cable that will work. I tried a cable (VGA/audio/USB to HDMI) and it doesn't work. Then I tried a GE VGA to HDMI converter and a VGA to VGA cable.That doesn't work either. Suggestions?

According to this page, the Panasonic CF53 has an HDMI out port? Which means this should work =
Panasonic CF53 HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2415 HDMI in port
For computer VGA out port, a little harder =
Panasonic CF53 VGA out port --> VGA to VGA cable --> VGA in/HDMI out converter --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2415 HDMI in port

Yes, but unfortunately I will be going through a blackbox KVM with VGA input's and outputs using Avocent extenders (longview 3000). Trying to get it working on the laptop first as that will be what is being extended.

Unfortunately, I cannot speak to any non-tested KVM or any cable extenders. Dell only test/validates monitors directly to a computer using standard 6' cables.
