U2415, Windows 10, Windows resize after wake up fix

After many hours of searching the internet for solutions, I have finally discovered the solution to this problem: Windows automatically resize after wake up or when moving mouse to border of screen.

Right-click your monitor icon in the system tray and uncheck "Auto-restore window layout."

I had already taken the advice of others and turned off Snap in Windows settings > System > Multitasking. I had selected the monitor layout with the X in Dell Display Manager > Easy Arrange. So these might be necessary, but the problem was not solved until I did the above.

Dell: If this is checked by default, you are annoying a lot of people, according to the huge number of complaints on the internet. It is an extremely annoying, ongoing problem, making it very difficult to do any work when multiple windows are open - i.e., all the time. You are constantly resizing and restoring windows back to where you wanted them.

This is NOT checked by default. It must be manually enabled/checked by the end user.
