U2415, audio port, Monsoon external speakers
I plugged in my Monsoon speakers into the U2415 Dell monitor audio port and they DID NOT WORK. I ended up using the port on the back of the tower. Now I have no place to plug in my new HUSH headphones.

Once connected to the computer, you have to open the operating system Sound Playback and choose either U2415 HDMI or U2415 DP or U2415 mDP (whichever you connected) and set it as the Default Device. Then, the rear Audio Line out should work. Here is how mine looks =
