U2518D connected to laptop through DP, black screen

Hello,

I have an U2518D monitor which I use with a PC without any issue through DP cable.

However when I connect it to a HP elitebook 840 G3 laptop, I only see a black screen. Tried to change DP 1.2 off/on, but didn't work. The laptop identifies the monitor as it is seen in the display settings, but that's all.

The laptop is owned by my company and not mine, so I cannot install manually any program or driver.

Any advice?
