U2518D, frazzled and not recognized by Dell Support!

HI

My brother gave me his U2518D which I have been using happily for months. Then this week, I noticed an error message on DDM that my U2518D was not supported. I went to the site to see if it was a software issue and did a firmware update. My U2518D is dead now. To make matters even worse, when I tried to contact support, my U2518D is no longer a supported product? Can't be that old surely? Please help and direct me to the right firmware please. The one online is dated 2018. Am typing this on my laptop and miss my U2518D. It was a beautiful thing when it was working

Can anyone tell me where I can get firmware version MT2105 as referenced on this thread please?

The only one on site is MT2103 from 2 years ago and my monitror remains blank. Thanks R

I managed to get my monitor working again but remain perplexed that new drivers (to date I have seen references to 104 and 105 on this community forum) are witheld

This has been a bad experience for me

I have also uninstalled DDM
