U2713 HM Preset Modes Never Saves
I recently purchased a U2713 HM monitor and the monitor reverts to Preset Mode: Multimedia from Standard every time I load something from the Windows taskbar, launch a program, or reboot the computer. I prefer the monitor to remain on Standard Mode continuously. How do I save this mode and prevent continual changes?

I have the same problem. Haven't figured out a solution yet or seen anything on Dell's support site. Maybe someone monitoring this blog can help?????

I had the same problem and I found it. You have to open Dell Display Manager (in your system tray) and select Manual Mode in the BASIC tab
