U2717D, two on two PC, DDC/CI, USB Power Saving

Greetings Community.

I have two new U2717D monitors hooked up to two separate systems. Two questions:

- Both monitors are enabled with DDC/CI. I'm able to use the DDM to change inputs on a UP2716D monitor; do the U2717D support this? I can adjust gamma/brightness, but the Input tab does not appear for the U2717D monitors.

- In the OSD of one U2717D, I see there is a setting under 'Energy' for 'USB'; this can be toggled to leave a USB peripheral powered on or off when the Monitor is in standby (and works as designed). On the second U2717D, this option is greyed out. Both are connected via DP and USB3 (albeit to 2 separate systems). Any clue why monitor 2 has this option greyed out? I'd like to enable it.

Kindest Regards

We need a more data on both computers, what operating systems, video cards, video card ports, and how all of the monitors are attached to both computers. Something like this =

1st computer example:
XPS 8930, Windows 10, Nvidia GTX 1080 DP out port --> UP2716D DP to mDP cable --> UP2716D mDP in port
UP2716D USB upstream cable connected to XPS 8930 USB port

XPS 8930, Windows 10, Nvidia GTX 1080 DP out port --> U2717D DP to mDP cable --> U2717D mDP in port
U2717D USB upstream cable connected to XPS 8930 USB port

Then do the same for the 2nd computer.

From the manual:

NOTE: USB ON/OFF under standby mode is only available when the USB upstream cable is unplugged. This option will be greyed out when the USB upstream cable plugs in.

So, just unplug your USB upstream cable, then make the configuration change. Plug the cable back in.
