U2717D, warranty period?
Does U2717D have 3 year warranty regardless where it bought? Either from Dell store or from any USA authorized reseller? I'm looking to buy it, but the merchant says the monitor "includes a one year manufacturer warranty for parts and labor", which contradicts the warranty info on the product page.

The U2717D is not offered on the Dell 27" Monitors sales page? Where do you see it on the Dell store?
If purchased from any reseller, the 3 year warranty period is based solely on the build date code embedded in the 20 digit serial number found on the rear label.
