U2719D, no HDMI signal from your device

So got a brand new U2719D and a new computer running Windows 10. Plugged them together using the HDMI and USB cables supplied. I get the error message “no HDMI signal”. I know the computer works as the builder showed it to me on his regular screen in his office. Have tried a spare HDMI cable and got the same result.

Thank you for your message.

 

* Turn off the U2719D

* Disconnect all the cables
* Press and hold down the power button on the U2719D for 8 seconds

* Connect the power and the HDMI cable
* Turn on the U2719D

In the OSD Menu – Input source, change the input source from HDMI to DVI and back to HDMI again and check if the connections are getting detected.
