U3011, XPS 8920, AMD Radeon RX 480, cannot get 2560x1600 resolution
I recently bought a new Dell computer. Dell XPS 8920 XPS8920-7922BLK-PUS that has 8GB AMD Radeon RX 480 Graphics.
My monitor is a 30 inch Dell U3011. I've used it on two prior computers and have never had a problem with it. The maximum resolution is 2560x1600.
Unfortunately on my new Dell computer the highest resolution I can achieve is 1920x1200.
I think the problem is that the Dell XPS does not have a Displayport plug in and the Dell U3011 does not have a DVI plug in.
I tried HDMI to HDMI and was unable to get the proper resolution.
I bought a DisplayPort to DVI Converter and still cannot get above 1920x1200.
Drivers are updated.
Any help would be appreciated.

AMD Radeon RX 480 video out ports = DP/DP/DP/HDMI
U3011 video in ports = DP/DVI-D/DVI-D/VGA/HDMI/HDMI
Connect in this way =
AMD Radeon RX 480 DP out port --> DP to DP cable --> U3011 DP in port

Somehow after all these years I finally found the Display Port on the monitor. For some reason the other ways still won't give me max resolution but this will.
Thank u
