U3011 power issue
I have aU3011 which is randomly powering off the screen(computer stays up)
the monitor is out of official warranty but considering the cost of this thing i would expect a slightly longer life.
I can get it to come back on by pulling the plug hitting the power button a few tiems and leave it off for 10 minutes.
The power downs are completely random and are affecting my work.

Correct, from a warranty perspective, Dell cannot exchange it. We only exchange them while under the three year warranty. Dell also does not repair monitors, sell monitor components, or have disassembly documentation. Your only option is to take it to a local TV repair center to see if they can diagnose the issue. Then look for spare parts on eBay or craigslist.
