Ultrasharp 2007WFP with a BFG 7600 GT OC ?

Thinking of upgrading my monitor to a Dell Ultrasharp 2007WFP, but I'm not sure if my BFG 7600 GT OC card is capable or able to keep up @ 1680 x 1050. Gaming and movies are my concern. Can anyone please let me know if my card can support this monitor?

Thanks!

I have a 2007WFP myself coupled with a XFX 7600GT and it words perfectly.

It's an excellent display for movies; it's widescreen, it has a high quality S-IPS (or S-PVA) panel and it even supports DHCP which is mandatory to play the new High Definition formats (if you don't want to use AnyDVD HD that is :P).

It's also a great display for games; a lot of games support 1680x1050 resolution and will run at reasonable speeds with your graphics card. If you want to play the latest games you may need to use 1280x1024 to achieve good framerates; you can set the graphics card to that resolution with perfect 1:1 aspect ratio so you can play non-widescreen games or if you need to gain some speed.

Bottom line is that I recommend you this monitor, but if you want high resolution, high quality, high framerate, last generation gaming, it would be wise to update your graphics card also.

Good luck.
