Upgrading from the Dell 2007FP

Hi, My Wife is currently using two of these 1600x1200 monitors for her Work; they both work great & she especially likes the 4:3 ratio. But as time goes by she has been getting eyestrain when working long hours, and she has commented that my Monitor, which is a 27" with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, is easier to read documents on. So two questions:- 1) Is there a 5:4 ratio monitor anyone would recommend with a better resolution / panel? And accepting that this ratio is becoming rare:- 2) What monitor would anyone recommend to move to in the 21,5" - 24" Range? Computer is an Inspiron 580 MT CPU is an Intel Core i3 Processor 530(2,93GHz,4MB) 8 GB of RAM onboard Graphics card is Nvidia GT220 Both Monitors are connected via DVI (One with an HDMI-DVI cable since the GT220 only has one DVI output) Thanks in advance for any suggestions :-)

We need to know what price range? Then, we can drill down on the sales page looking for monitors that have DVI and HDMI ports.

Thanks for getting back to me :-)

€ 300 to maximum € 400 per monitor: as you can guess, important is keeping the size down to a similar footprint as the present monitors, as well as a better resolution

Check out the S2216M. Then search for it on the Dell site for your country. It has a DVI in port and does 1920x1080.
