What is the warranty period on a Dell monitor

* Monitors purchased before Nov. 1, 2005 carry the longer of a 3-year limited warranty or the length of the system's limited warranty.
* Monitors purchased stand alone on or after Nov. 1, 2005 carry a minimum 3-year warranty with an optional extended warranty for 4 or 5 years from the invoice date.
* Monitors purchased with a Dell system after Dec. 12, 2005 carry the length of the system's limited warranty.
* Monitors that have an attached Service Tag (for example, 3007WFP) carry the length of limited warranty purchased with that monitor.
