XPS 8900, P2715Q + U2713HM, Daisy chain?

I have the P2715Q monitor and it has a DisplayPort OUT. My desktop is the XPS 6187q3k. Is it possible to plug a DisplayPort cable in there and then connect it to the DisplayPort IN of my U2713HM monitor? I tried it and the screen of the U2713hM monitor is all pink and unusable. How can I connect both of these monitors to my so that they both display at max resolutions? Now I have to settle connecting the U2713HM with HDMI but I am only getting 1900x1200 resolution on it. Would a display port splitter solve my problem?

I do not recognize "XPS 6187q3k" ? Can you check for the system service tag number or the model number (XPS 8700, 8900, 8910, etc.) ? Is there an added video card installed or are you using the onboard video out port? If an added video card, which one? What out ports are on it? I have never tested that splitter. But based on the website, it should work.

I do not know if the onboard Intel GPU can actually drive those two in a daisy chain. But by choosing to attempt the daisy chain off of the P2715Q, i.e. turning the P2715Q DP out port on (In the Menu- Display, MST set to Primary = MST DP out Enabled), will result in 3840x2160 30Hz, not 60Hz. I could not use it at 30Hz.

This is how I would set it up =

XPS 8900 onboard DP out port --> P2715Q DP to mDP cable --> P2715Q mDP in port (Menu- Display- MST Off = 4k2k 3840x2160 60Hz)

XPS 8900 GeForce GT 730 DVI-D out port --> DVI-D to DVI-D cable ---> U2713HM DVI-D in port 2560x1440 60Hz

XPS 8900, Windows 10

Monitor two P2715Q is the main display and it is connected to DisplayPort on desktop. It is the Intel HD Graphics 530.

Monitor one is U2713HM and is currently connected to the HDMI port of the Nvidia GeForce GT 730 card.

So again in summary my current configuration is:

1. DisplayPort cable goes from desktop to the P2715Q Resolution is 3840x2160
2. HDMI cable goes from desktop to the U2713HM. Resolution is 1920x1080 (because HDMI does not go higher resolution)

But instead what I would like is to connect the P2715Q with DisplayPort to the XPS 8900 and then to connect a DisplayPort cable FROM the DisplayPort out port of the P2715Q into the U2713HM so that I can get max resolution on the U2713HM.

But as I said when I did that the screen of the U2713HM was all pinkish.  Making me think the U2713HM is not compatible with daisy chaining?
