dell U2410 chromatic aberration
Hi, I bought this monitor and I have a problem of crossing the black in white colour and vice versa.
White (sharp) text on black bacground isn't white. There is visible a very high chromatic aberration.
There is no matter how the monitor is plugged in (DVI, DisplayPort).
There is no matter which color scheme, temperature or preset is selected.
This is not, graphic card or cable issue, This aberration is also visible on monitor menu fonts!
This is not a normal situation, in my old TN (iiyama) I dont have thing like this:
rev A.05 (may 2011) (production: Czech)
photo taken at a fairly high-zoom shows discoloration, it is also visible from a distance:

I really do not see anything wrong in those photos. Can you explain more what you perceive as wrong?

suppose that the figure shows 1px vertical white line on black backgroud (in fact, is 2px)
1. The number one shows how monitor should display the lines correctly
2. Shows how to display the lines on my screen
clear now??

I have both hooked up...
a Dell u2410 (IPS) via DVI and
a basic Samsung 20" WideScreen LCD (TN based) via VGA
Can you upload the original .BMP test pic ?
Also, you might want to post a question here ... these members really know a lot about LCDs

I did your same test (creating a BMP) in Paint.
Looks fine to me (no red).
