u3014 uniformity

Hello,

For starters sorry for my english

I have my u3014 for one week now.

My screen have an uniformity problem. There is a glow in the lower left corner and the lower right corner.

It is more noticeable in the lower left corner.

I think it is from the anti reflection coating which is not very well applied in those corners because the other

parts of the screen don't have this problem.

I waited days thinking i will accomodate with it, but it is not the case.

Do all the u3014 have this problem ??

username25,

Post some pictures of the issue here and I will tell you if the monitor is within manufacturer specifications.

That is within our specifications. Dell monitors do not have 100% backlight uniformity specification. As long as the center 2" circle meets our manufacturer specifications, it is acceptable.

Hello,

This is not acceptable for me.

2 inchs (5 cm) circle represent 3% of the screen !!! It's not a phone screen it is a 30 inchs monitor.

There is no mention of that on your web site (or perhaps it is well hidden).

On the photos of the monitor on your web site, the blackborders look perfect :

Please respond to my question ? Are all the u3014 like this.

Good day

PS : Sorry for my english

This is not acceptable for me.

* If you are inside 30 days from the invoice date, you may return it to Dell for credit.

Are all the u3014 like this.
