APPLICATIONS:\Microsoft Hyper-V\xxxxxxx, - Reason: Backup to device failed.
Backing up a hyper-v cluster with NW and NMM 9.1.1.7.
I have about 40 vm's on this cluster that backup successfully.
I have 15 vm's that fail every night give the error:
Reason: Backup to device failed.
If I run each of the failed vm's individually they all will succeed one at a time.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi ttobey
Can you check the device/pool configuration?
How many devices you have for that pool, how many VMs are backing up, and what is the parallelism for that client?
Remember to set the policy to inactivity timeout, and paralellism to "0"
Thank you,
Carlos

How do you run them individually? I haven't seen a way to run the backup on one failed hyper-v vm without running the entire job again.
