Backing up MSSQL 2008
Hi all,
Anybody know if it's possible to do dedupe backups through Networker to Avamar with NMM 2.2 SP1. I have a setup of Windows 2008 R2 runing MSSQL 2008 and I need to get the backup running to an Avamar dedupe node through Networker??
I'm prettty sure that the answer is NMM 2.3 as everything else with 2008 R2, but since the release is in Q1 2011 i'm hoping that this is not the case :-(

You've ID'd it correctly - the gate here is the support for the Windows Server 2008 R2 with NMM. That's coming w/ NMM 2.3 in the timeframe you mentioned.
If you were running straight Windows Server 2008, that would be supported and do what you want (dedupe to Avamar) using 2.2 SP1.
Are you doing other client+app backups now to Avamar using the NetWorker integration?
