Backup of the Exchange transaction logs

Is it normal that NetWorker backups some transaction logs twice when backing up Exchange transaction logs? Shouldn't the backed up logs be deleted?

A customer is having problems recovering the mail stores;
He gets an error like this:

[1112]
07/23/07 13:00:00 Processed 879 items 57 GB in 4:18:34 3785244 bytes/second
[1112] 07/23/07 13:00:00 rcutil(978): NetWorker Server failed to recover one or more of the files requested.
[1112] 07/23/07 13:00:00 Not recovered: /Information Store/Erste Speichergruppe/E00300E8.log (1185123621.1185123622)
[1112] 07/23/07 13:00:00 Not recovered: /Information Store/Erste Speichergruppe/E00300E9.log (1185123621.1185123623)
.....

...and many more logs. But when we look into save logs, those files were backed up successfully, and the last file in this list is backed up twice, on two different savesets! So, could this present problems?

Was there any indication if first attempt failed? What is the saveset field you use for that client?

No, everything is fine, the backups always finish successfully.
Saveset is MSEXCH:IS/STORGRP1
[9316] 07/26/07 16:57:25 Backup of logs for storage group STORGRP1 was successful

Well, if something is retried and retry is successful your group will also finish with success - meaning it means nothing. You should check backup log for entire backup session and check previous logs if they have the same issue and where exactly this difference is coming from.
