Block Based backup mount during recovery
Hello,
We are running Networker 9.1.1.2 on Windows 2012R2 and a Data Domain as backup device. One of the systems we backup is a Windows 2012R2 file server cluster. The backups are block based backups and generally run fine. However, when restoring, the backup is mounted as a mount point in the Networker Client program directory and also as a disk with the same serial number and name. Is there a way to disable this, i.e. the backup image being mounted as a disk as well?
When we were running NW 8.1 and 8.2, I remember the backup being mounted only as a mount point, and I would like to keep it that way, as I suspect that mounting the image as a disk could cause DFSR issues.
Any useful tips are most welcome!
Regards,
Stijn
