Can networker update VM annotations after each succesful backup

When we were using NetBackup it would update the "NB_LAST_BACKUP" annotation each time the VM was backed up.  Would be nice to have the same thing from Networker.  It does seem to add a couple of annotation fields but really seem to be useless the way they are.
