Let me summarize. You tying to restore data from client A to client B using NetWorker user when being logged on to client B ?

Do you have "*@*" or "*@B.xx.com" on the "Remote Access" parameter on client A ? if not go ahead and put in "*@*" and try the restore again.

Sometimes recovering from aborted saveset might show this error. Verify the saveset status.

Hello crazyrov I've got the "@" on the remote acces of both clients, even I have set the hostnames on the res/servers files on both servers too

@Prajith The save sets' status is "Browseable" What kind of status does the save sets must have

I have seen all the recomendation that the experts suggests on the forums, but anything works

Thank you for yor response

Have you tested a saveset restore yet ?

Go to the target server and run the following command,

recover -s backup_server_hostname -S ssid -d destination_folder -iN

Share the results of this command.

To me this error sounds a bit different than anything discussed yet; to me it sounds as if user which does restore does not have OS level permissions to create/modify files in folder/structure where it should be.

Hope you can help me

Make sure you are running Networker User at the destination client. You could also try right click > Run as administrator on the networker user program in Windows.

An alternative, try the Recovery Tab and wizard in the NMC GUI itself

Can you check if your client machine is still registered to the AD ?
