Cloning to tape from DR Data Domain
Hello,
We have been doing the Tape clone for various Oracle, Exchange server from DD to physical tape media. I understand the backup running in Networker in production site also gets cloned to DR Data Domain. Is it possible to chose the Cloned set from DR DD to clone into tape media in DR site ?
I have created the Policy and Groups and how do i choose a specific Save set from the Data Domain to do the cloning from the DR site to Tape(DR).

By default NW will always choose the first instance of a save set as source for a clone operation ... if this media is available. Unfortunately, this will always the case with a disk media.
If you want to chose a specific instance you must specify the ssid along with the cloneid. For example, such a clone command would look like
nsrclone -s server -b clone_pool -S ssid/cloneid
It may be possible that the specification of the source storage node which you could add as well, along with only the ssid, might already do the trick but I personally find this solution more awkward.
