DD boost
We are stating a POC foor implementing DDboot with Quest netvault
We are getting the following results
1 windows 2003 with sql -> dd boost -> datadomain
File backup is working good -> DDboost is working -> time reducents
SQL backup is working good -> ddboost isworkging no errors -> no time effort
2 windows 2003 64 bits -> dd boost -> datadomain
system is generating errors missing dll files
I have asked quest for support and this is there comment
- did you re-install the client or chose to use the .dlls I provided?
- were the 3 dlls "C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\NetVault Backup\dynlib\bit64\" on SRV099 older than the ones I
provided?
- I believe the issue is that Windows 2003R2 is not supported by DD Boost.
The only way to find out would be to call EMC/Data Domain for clarification.
Have done that already?
It could be that this Windows version cannot work with DD-Boost in which case we won't be able to solve this if EMC does not support

Looking into the DDBoost compatiblity Matrix
Quest NetVault 9.0 is compatible with Windows 2003 / 64 bits
DDBoost plugin 2.5.0.3
Same for Quest NetVault 9.1

Other wise
We are using ddboost plugin 2.5.0 3 and Netvault 9.11. build 1
With a 32 bits server the system is functional except we get no benefit of using
DD-boost with a sql database plugin files are ok
Function Status
System 32 bits
1 ) using SQL 32 bits and Windows 32 bits system works works no time reducement
2 ) stopping SQL server and backup up the database file works with time reducement
System 64 Bits
3) using SQL 64 Bits and Windows 64 Bits system generates dll errors
SQL and file backup nog working getting Dll errors
Is there a server from where I can download the 2.6.0.0 DD boost plugin files
To test if that option is working for us

Hi there.
The thing is that
ddboost plugin 2.5.0 3 and Netvault 9.11. build 1 is compatible with Windows 2003 x64, so it must be a different issue.
2.6 is not yet out as General Availability
