i hope you have logged in as a user with sufficient privileges for this installation as the error states that you don't have sufficient privileges.
You can test this by trying to stop or restart some services on the server.

Hi Crazyrov
I have the privileges as local administrators group and backup operators group.
Please let me know which services are required.

nsrexecd (the client 'listener') is a service which runs with LOCAL SYSTEM account.
This is automatically configured during the installation process. The service will automatically be started at the end of the process.
If you had the rights to install the software, could it be that you tried to install an older NW Version which is not supported for that OS? - Support for Windows 2012 R2 has been introduced with NW 8.1.1 .

The final phase of the installation process is to start the services, if the service does not respond or fails to start the entire installation fails. What version of NetWorker are you trying to install?

User Access Control. It applies to admins as well.

was this a fresh installation or was there any other version installed prior to installing 8.2? Try rebooting the server and try the installation again.

Try to run the installer from an elevated command prompt ( right click, run as admin) or tsrat the setup.exe with right click, run as administrator.
If using NMM as well, run from the SAME account with the same method.

OK - back to the basics.
EC 1920 is a Windows error:
C:\>net helpmsg 1920
The file cannot be accessed by the system.
C:\>
So what could potentially cause the trouble? - If the Event Viewer does not sched a light, I would ...
- Shutdown NW (should not be the issue as not even the client comes up)
- Uninstall NetWorker
- COPY the following NW directories to a save location:
- /nsr/res
- /nsr/mm
Of course you could also recover them later from a bootstrap recovery.
- MOVE the directories
- /nsr/bin
- /nsr/logs
- /nsr/tmp
- remove all applicable entries referring to 'nsr' and 'networker' from the registry
- install NW again into the same directory
- see what it comes up with. If the client will not start again, move the /nsr/res directory before a retry.
