The command itself is correct.

Consequently, it might be that the group is still running on the server. Please check with "jobquery" or "jobkill".

However, you might run into other issues when starting the command remotely.

Although I can initiate the job successfully, it obviously seems that I do not have the rights to create the log information.

PS responds with "Access denied":

102712:savegrp: Unable to create file 'E:\nsr\tmp\sg.default.ready': Access is denied. (Win32 error 0x5)

This is weird as I use the same domain wide admin account and I even have the NW disk mapped with the same account.

I can access the share itself but not the ...\nsr\... path remotely. This is obviously blocked by NetWorker.

It seems that the only solution is to run the command locally on the server itself.

Thanks, Bingo.

I ran jobquery, didn't see any running jobs. Still has this issue.

Thanks,

Well ... you might still have an orphaned process running which NW does not recognize any longer.

The only way to verify that is to use task manager or process explorer (sysinternals).

If this does not help, I do not see any other option than restating the NW services on the NW server.
