Exchange 2007 Backup Issue using NMM

We have been using Networker Module for Exchange 5.2 for quite some time for Exchange 2007. And we are now in the progress to upgrade to NW8.2.3.5 + NMM8.2.3.5. I have updated the configuration as below at the client property ( Standalone Exchange 20007 on Windows 2008) . The Exchange has D drive for Database and E drive for logs. I am getting the error like below. Any idea why. Your help is greatly appreciate. Backup Server is also on NW8.2.3.5.

Backup Command: nsrsnap_vss_save

Hi there,

This issue is due to the configuration of the Exchange DB:

The MBX-LHRX7PLHR01-SG01-01 database and system path for SG01 are on the same volume

You need to make sure that the system path for the DB is not in the same volume as the DB itself, it should match the log path instead.

Thank you,

Carlos

Run the below command from exchange management shell to check if the command can query the databases

nsrsnap_vss_save -vv -?

Also paste the logs from nmm.raw in the Exchange host

Hi Deb,
Thanks for your response. After further checking, we found the logs for SG01 is under the same volume with DBs. No issue with SGPF. This is telling me why I have hot with such error.. The issue is fixed now.. Thanks!
