Even though you uncheck a node to scan, if you've scanned before it does not rescan and update the device configuration with changes. That's why you use "exclude SCSI paths" when rescanning.
You'll find the "exclude SCSI paths" by running the inquire command for your networker server or the storage node that is picking up the unconfigured devices. When you run the discover, put those paths in the "exclude SCSI paths" section and they'll go away. In your picture, one of your paths is 4.4.1, you can also exclude 4.4. or 4. or any other number.
It seems to me that my gif file is not clear as I expected. I know that orange wrench icon seems to be that device is not configured. I have tried everything. I could not reconfigure the library (only one library as it is only one juke box in my network) for that particular device. I have restarted sevices at the networker server and reelevant storage node servers. Still the same. There is the message"Can not create device, storage node enabler required".
So it might that the problem is due to unconfigured devices. It was suggested to either delete it or press reconfigure. In fact they can not be removed as it, because it is not configured. If I try to reconfigure it, it will ask me for storage node enabler. My networker is 7.4 andsome people suggest t hat might be problem in that version related to that problem.
You need to skip the B.T.L of the jukebox and the drives for which you are getting the wrench icon. Click on libraries in devices and scan for devices. In the scan window you get an option to specify the b.t.l which you do not want to scan, enter one b.t.l per line and rescan.
1. How to get b.t.l for devices through Networker?
2. I do not undestand under Scan Devices - "update storage node properties if required" field - "exclude SCSI path".What is the point of that, knowing you could tick a device to search? It will not be searched if that device is not ticked? I did not find i therelevant info at manual for Networker 7.4. In addition, There is no on line help for that attribute.
3. What I basically did is I firstly scanned all devices and Configured library after that. So, all devices are there when I try to reconfigure jukebox library, installed are ticked whereas uninstalled are not ticked.
All SCSI number are the same for all storage nodes and networker server. In fact I have to exclude numbers: 0.4.0 and 4.4.0. In fact, I have to rescan two times for each tape drive?

That will clear up the unconfigured devices.

Ok, I have 3 questions:
