Informix database backup installation
Hello ,
I have to install backup of informix database on windows host . But i cannot install NMDA module as we have onbar functionality disabled on informix. We use TSM.
Can someone help me on how to configure these backups now ?

Can someone suggest there views on informix backup configuration here without using NMDA configuration ?

If you use TSM, then you would use TDP to backup Informix, but that would again require onbar as onbar is used by all backup applications to protect Informix. Eventually, you may wish to use snapshots on disk arrays which will require you to script block on commits, snapshot and release. Normally you wish to have vendor supported and integrated solution without much of scripts on your own side and as less as possible do-it-yourself.
