Legato 7.6 - Monitoring Screen Blank
As of Monday, our Legato 7.6 install has stopped working. Backups from the weekend ran mostly ok, but on Monday morning some backups show as interrupted / failed (including the Bootstrap of the backup server).
So as of now, we cannot see any info in our Monitoring tab. No groups, no devices etc. The rest of the program seems to be running ok though.
Has anyone come across this? A link on Powerlink said to try and recreate the nsr/temp folder but this made no odds.
Its running on Windows 2008 Server R2.

As Prajith explained have you tried renaming the jobsdb and tmp folder and restart the services?

I think with win2k8 R2 you wish to have 7.5.2.x and not 7.6.
As for what you have described, it sounds as if nsrjobdb has died.

Hello,
Networker 7.6 on Windows 2008 R2 is not supported. Even this might be the cause.
Also try these work arounds,
Stop networker services and rename the /nsr/res/jobsdb. Jobsdb will recreate, once the services starts.
Also try clearing the java cache. (control panel > Java > settings > delete files)

Try clicking "archive requests" and then back to groups in the monitoring tab.. that works for us..
we are not running win2008R2.. but the monitoring tab is never filled with information until you do this.. it HAS to be the "archive requests" you click first.
strange bug. have lived with it for a while.
