Networker 76sp2 declustering
Hi all, I've declustered a NWserver 7.4.5 (SUN cluster) and upgrade it to NW 76sp2.2.
After the NW server declustering some tapes became "unlabeled" and volretent = undef.
Are there some tricks in order to declustering a NWserver?
Any suggestions?
Thx in advance

unlabeled in nsrjb database or mdb? As a first steps, I would suggest to do full inventory against such tapes.

You don't need to scan tapes. Just inventory... and for start fast one would probably work too. clustering/declustering is hardly related to this.

I've tried with inventory but the tapes became "usable" until next mount operation then they come backup unlabeled
After the scavenging procedure all is working fine (restore too)
thx a lot

I've tried with inventory but no solution, i cannot scanner the tapes because i've a SILO with thousands of tapes.
I've done a mm scavenging and problem seems to be resolved. I'm testing backup & restore.
Thx

Perhaps without scavenging:
-apply last cumulative hotfixes for NW76x
-run:
nsrim -K
nsrim -X
