Networker 8.X VSS Error FAILED_AT_FREEZE 0x800423f2
hello all,
I have a strange behaviour on Servers backed up with networker 8.X Clients.
in unregular intervals backup Fails, but not the data backup itself but the DISASTER_RECOVERY Backup.
attached the Output of the savegrp completion mail.
In networker 7.6 everything is working well.
has anyone seen this Kind of issue before?
Server is running on WIN2008R2 NW 8.1.1.2 , Client the same config.

Such errors were common in the past - today they appear pretty rarely.
Registration helps in almost all cases.
For Windows 2008 clients use these commands:
Takeown /f %windir%\winsxs\filemaps\* /a
icacls %windir%\winsxs\filemaps\*.* /grant "NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM:(RX)"
icacls %windir%\winsxs\filemaps\*.* /grant "NT Service\trustedinstaller:(F)"
icacls %windir%\winsxs\filemaps\*.* /grant BUILTIN\Users:(RX)
net stop cryptsvc
net start cryptsvc
net stop nsrpsd
net stop nsrexecd
net start nsrexecd
net start nsrpsd

Have you tried a reboot yet ? These kind of errors go away after a reboot.
