Networker EBR local Backup and Clone

aWe have many remote location with VMware and can provide EBR Appl. to Backup with Networker Local and then Clone the backup for DR and Longterm to an central point (DataDomain device).

This funkion have ON issue, we can't set the bandwidth throttling from source to taget!!

Networker EBR 0,5 or 4TB Appl. full integatet in VMWare, half in Networker/DataDomain.

WHY??

- we can backup to DataDomain device controlled by Networker/VMWare,

- we can local backup in EBR

- we can clone backups to other device

- we can't set clone Bandwidth throttling from EBR (Remote Office) to central DataDomain device for DR/ longterm backups!!!

- we can't replicate the EBR to DataDoamin

I see the Avamar to Avamar or DataDomain to DataDomain have the funktion are the EBR (Avamar) to DataDomain failed.

Why??

We need this option!

My ideas:

1. create an EBR with DataDomain in ther background

2. add the option in the configuration window for set bandwidth throttling for remote clone.
