Networker Fast Start wizard problems

Dear all,

I'am trying to setup an new networker configuration.

Windows 2008SP2 x64.

Networker Fast Start 7.6

The server is member of a windows domain and the connectivity with the rest of the network is ok, as you can see in the picture, but I face the problem that you can see in the uploaded image. Is there any reported problem about the wizard?

Any ideas?

How have you defined the range you are discovering in?  Is this correct?  You might want to check the name resolution between the relevant machines.  Also, is this Win2k8 R2?

coganb thanks. This is a Windows 2008SP2 x64.

I had checked the "automatic discovery of hosts" option and returned the error I said.

Now I ckecked the custom entry and I entered my desired host machine. So I overcome this error.

Chris

Here I am again,

The wizard cant find any pc if i set Autodiscovery and IP range.

It works only with the the custom entry option and only for my server. If I set a custom entry for a test pc it gives the error in the uploaded picture.

The connectivity is fine kai the domain name resolution is also fine. Any ideas???

you sure you have the Administrator host credentials correct?  You might want to try adding another host to see if the problem is related to this host or something else.

Hello coganb,

Yeap wherever i tried the result is the same. to ensure that I created a local administrator and again the result is the same.

Is there any issue with the win2008 version of windows server and the wizard?

Regards,

Chris
