Networker client's OS changed - index issues

Hi

We are using Networker Server 7.5.1 on Windows 2003 Server. There is a client called hoodsdb1 which is Windows 2003 machine running Nsr 7.5 client. This client's OS has been changed to RedHat linux 5. Its using the same hostname and ip as the old client. Is there a possibility of CFI corruption if backup is performed on it?

thanks

It should not corrupt the existing indexes but since nothing is documented or tested, keep a separate index backup with you.
