New Cleaning tape still says it has 0 Uses left,

I replaced my cleaning tape and it still shows 0 uses left. I am running Networker 7.5.1 and have a Quanum M1500 jukebox. Slot 25 holds the cleaning tape. The NMC shows the correct bar code but says 0 uses? I am new to this so I am sure it is easy, just can't figure it out. Thanks

You can do this from the command line:

nsrjb -U numberofcleans -S slot

0 uses left is generally shown if the library/NW thinks that the tap has been fully utilized to its capacity. If this is a new tape, you can try disabling the Auto Clean and reenabling it again.
