No save set in clone job preview.
Hello everybody,
I have created a clonning job, and i'm suprised ti see an empty window when i want to preview my selection.
The clone job have:
- a good storage node write/read
- A good pool (with mounted device in)
- In filters option i have only a selection of pool A.
- 2 months of previous
And i should see all save set, and i see nothing.
My test:
- unchecked the pool A and check a group B (this group was backuped in the pool A selected before)
And i see all save set.
But, like i'm doing a migration, i have actualy this group in 2 pools the pool A (old one) and the pool B (new one).
And i want only the old one (pool A).
When i checked the group B and the pool A, the preview is empty too.
I have searched the SSID of the save set, and i have find the volume where he is stocked.
This volume is a volume of pool A.
I don't understand.
My goal is to create a clone of pool to another pool.
Today i have created 4 other clone job like this.
Only this one don't work
Someone can help me ?
Thanks a lot
David.

all other criteria have been checked

"My test:

So have a look at one of the save sets and see in which pool it actuall has been saved.
Also verify all other criteria.
Finally, it is possible that the issue only shows here. Please verify with the save set query from the GUI and/or command line (mminfo).

There can obviously be huge delays involved. I just had to wait about 10mins to see the SS list.
So as long as you see "Loading save set list..." you better wait and see.

Thanks for your help
With some print-screen this will be clearer.

Thanks Bobby
I wait for a response of EMC support -.-
And i think that i will upgrade NWS.
I have tried to "play" with "Limit number of save set clones" and i set it to 0 (unlimited) with same result

I simply would give it a try. There could be a discrepancy between the GUI and the actual runtime result. This would not be nice but at least we understand the origin of the issue.

Hi,
You could be running into a bug there. I'd say upgrade your NetWorker server to version 7.6.4.5 and try again.

Another thing to check is the 'Limit number of save set clones' field. If this is set to 1, then it will only clone every saveset once. Therefore if these savesets are cloned already, it won't pick them up. Also, be sure that the savesets are not aborted or suspect.
