Purpose of servers file on Windows storage nodes
The name of the machines in the servers file will be allowed to backup the client. Apart from this, does the servers file have any other purpose especially on storage nodes?
also, does it go by the sequence of machines entered in the servers file?

Hello!
You are correct on the purpose and does not do anything else. It is also evaluated sequentially, but always processed in full.
