Restore data
Hi,
i just got few tapes from clients
they wanted to restore the data from tapes
however, it is my first time to use Legato networker software. i really have no idea what to do
i try to import the index to my server, but it doesn't work. could you guys help me out here?
how can i restore data from tapes?
i have tried to read the documents.
still no clue at all

In simple words, to get something back you need environment in which that something was taken. That can be original environment (at your client's side) or recreated one. For recreated one you need to rebuild NW databases to be aware of data on those tapes. That's in few words.
For details I would strongly suggest to open official support case.

i would really appreciate if you can tell me more details how to rebuild NW database.
i am new to this software.
i have been working on this case for 2 days and don't have that much to figure it out the solution.
please give me some hint
