Restoring from old Client that's been deleted from Networker and off network
Just a few months ago we retired some old servers. The backup admin went ahead and removed the clients from networker admin on the backup server to clean things up. I have a user that's requesting some data off backups from that server that no longer existed in Networker but do exist on tape. What's the best way to recover?

Hi Matt,
Use one dummy client with same "client id" of the old client and do recover of the index and after recover data.
For get client id use the command mminfo -avV |sort |uniq |grep old_client_name
After do recover of the index and the data or you can recover by ssid (recover -d /tmp -S ).
