Run nsrim -X cause "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."
Hello to Everyone,
Im my enterprise there are several networker server and data domain, and all work fine except for one of the networker server.
In this one every time networker try to call the cleaning of the expired savesets on the datadomain cifs shares, mounted as file devices, i retrive the error:
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
And windows get unable to mount any file share, also not on the dd, the only way to get the backup running again is to reboot the server.
In the windows event log there isn't any related error.
in the daemon log i can see:
91519 11/7/2013 8:47:22 PM 3 17 2 5220 7112 0 xxxxxxxxxxxxx nsrsnmd NSR error Unable to initialize device '\\xxxxxxxxxxxxx\yyyy01r': Unable to access '\\xxxxxxxxxxxxx\yyyy01r': Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service. (Win32 error 0x5aa)
I've tryed to update networker to the 8.1 release, and windows to the latest patch level.
I'm runngin windows 2008 r2 sp1 x64
obviously, in all my other networker server there are no kind of problem.
There's anyone that have seen this error before?
i'm getting out of mind for this annoyng problem.

Hello,
the error message is clearly released by windows. It seems that both, the OS and NW try to access the device which of course should not be setup this way (i did not test whether this would even be possible).

Hi there,
Check paged memory usage in task manager > Performance if exceeds 160MB when issue occurs, Microsoft have a KB about this, even though it doesn't mention windows 2008 yet i think you should give it a try.

Hello Maol,
What is the DDOS version been used , normally for NetWorker 8.1.x includes DD Boost library 2.6.x , supports DDOS 5.2.x , 5.3.x, 5.4.x and higher and DDOS 5.5 support added from NW 8.1.2.
Regards.

I think i may have solved it.
It looks like there was a mapped drive to this share from windows. I have deleted the mapped drive and it is mounting fine.
