Saveset recover fails with error message

Hi there,

When attempting to perform a saveset recovery i receive the following error message.

"6529:recover: you are not authorized to use the '-S ssid' save set recover or '-A text' annotation key recover"

I have relaxed permissions on the client and the backup server by putting in the *@* entries in the remote access field in the client and on the NetWorker Administrator list.

Also tried adding myself to the local administrator group on the client.

Tried running restore from both client and backup server

NetWorker Server is Windows 2003 Standard Edition running 7.6.1.2

The client is Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition running 7.5.1

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

The command i have been using is

recover -s server -S2774028748 -d D:\Restore_IM100943409 -a"G:\Data5\Home0035\H08848769\My Documents"

I tried switching some of the flags around to see if that would help.

Can you show us whole recover command as you tried to execute?

For ssid recover you do not need -a.  The only permission problem you may get is the one from OS at this point.
