Server in Queued state for more than 2 days

Hi All,

i am facing this problem since yesterday.

1 of my client server is in the queued state since yesterday, even when no activity is going on the network. So we can rule out the possibility of network bandwidth crunch.

Earlier the server was being backup.however perhaps some one did tried out something the server and changed the host file.

I thought that might be the cause for this issue.I rectified it and refired the backup but it didnt resolve the case.

i tried everything like ping, nslookup, rpcinfo etc to check whether the communication is a problem .But all the priliminary tests cameout just fine.

Could someone please thow some light on this issue??

Thanks in advance

Hi ,

I was able to resolve this issue. The problem was the connection. The error was related to peer connection i.e some problem between server and backup server.

i deleted the client from nmc and using its client id created a new client and everything seem to work now.

BTW you can get the client id from cmd as well:

mminfo -q"client=abcd" -r "client id,client name"  ...

Many Thanks
